This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Artist's Description
Inspired by the few and far between stories of the Japanese internment camps told to me by my mother about my Grandparents and what they went through. A tremendous amount of brilliant artwork came out of those hard times and terrible places and the experiences of those who lived through them are inspiration enough. This was the closest interpretation I could accomplish of some of the landscapes I've seen of that time and location.

Jeff, This is a classic document. As many Americans, I feel appalled by the way your grandparents and others were unjustly interred during WW II. I am glad that at least much brilliant artwork was done during those difficult times and afterwards. Good wishes to you. (We live on the East Coast and are preparing for "Hurricane Sandy". I just thought I would mention that even though it is off the subject. F/V
