The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description

This is that brief few seconds before the sun dips below the horizon. This is a beaver pond. The beaver have damed up a creek bed and created a lake. The water has drowned the roots of the pine trees and killed them leaving just skeletons behind. The frogs would just be starting their monthly chorus and the mosquitos would start biting. This painting is framed.
