Looking at this spooky, life size ghostly sculpture, I wonder what story the sculptor was trying to tell... Why is the ghost posed with a bicycle? Was the rider lost in the desert? This fascinating sculpture was found in the ghost town of Rhyolite.

Rhyolite is located in Nye County, in the U.S. state of Nevada. It is just outside of Beatty, Nevada. The town was founded in 1904, during the gold rush. Today the town of Rhyolite still features many standing buildings;there is one building still standing today that was made from 10,000 beer bottles!
