The Satiricon is a satirical novel written in Latin and attributed, with controversy, to Petronius. The story tells the adventures in the initial stage of the Roman Empire of two young men, Encolpio and Ascilto, as well as the young lover of the first, the adolescent Gitón.

Encolpio has been punished by the god Príapo making him a victim of sexual impotence, while his friend and rival, Ascilto, ambitions the love of Gitón.

Encolpio then goes to the meeting of Circe, a resident of Crotona but, struck again by impotence, decides to seek treatment in Enotea, priestess of Priapus. These works are not an apology for homosexuality. Federico Fellini made a very good movie on this subject and lets us see how in ancient Rome, morality did not resemble anything we know.

At that time everyone had relationships with everyone, as normal did not exist the terms heterosexual or homosexual. In ancient Greece the same thing happened as well as in Carthage and in Egypt....

I have worked in all the classical techniques and I like figurative and abstract art and also art history.
