This painting is an 11x14 inch oil painting that was created on a gallery canvas. It was inspired by a collection of glass items from my kitchen and a yellow daisy from my yard. I loved the contrast of the blue background and that one yellow flower. I am reminded of the famous poem by Emily Dickinson entitled, "The Daisy Follows Soft the Sun."
