Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

If and when I visit Egypt again, the ancient ruins of Karnak are high on my list of places to which I'd like a return visit. The light when we visited on our last morning in Luxor was great, but it would take far more than a short visit in the morning to explore this ancient Egyptian site in any detail. The Temple Complex of Karnak that we see today was once part of ancient Thebes. It was part of the landscape of Egypt from the Middle Kingdom through Ptolemaic times, but the bulk of the buildings we see amongst the ruins today represent New Kingdom architecture. Karnak was the last of the ancient temples I saw during my too brief time in Egypt, but I was also very much on temple overload at that point. There's an amazing amount of ancient history dotting the landscape of modern day Egypt. A brief visit of sites like Karnak would likely blow the mind of most armchair archaeologists.
