I fell in love with this photo the day that Jan posted it. The cards are beautiful, frame able for a small space. I like that they have plenty of room for writing or doodling inside.

The replica ship HMS Bounty shown at anchor in the St. Clair River, off Port Huron, Michigan, in the late 1980's. This full-size replica of the original British ship, HMS Bounty, was built in 1960 in the shipyard at Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada, for use in the the movie "Mutiny on the Bounty" starring Marlon Brando. The ship was lost at sea on 29 October 2012 off the coast of North Carolina during Hurricane Sandy. The ship's captain and another crew member were lost.
I am a life-long experimental photographer and visual artist. When I was young my father had a darkroom in our basement and I remember watching the prints develop under the red safelight and thinking it was magic! I received my first camera as a gift from my parents on my 9th birthday. Over the years I've shot in small-, medium- and large-formats. I have played with B/W and color darkroom processes, Polaroid systems (35mm slides, medium and large format), salted prints, cyanotypes, and gum prints, and now digital workflows for both still and video images. I also collect daguerreotypes, tintypes, antique silver prints, maps, postcards, and 16 mm movie cameras. My experiments continue! All of my images are original and copyright...
