Thank you, Kevin for making my work a featured artwork in the Wildlife Artists Group.

Anna, I love your very appealing little guy. very nice detail.

Thank you so very much, Sharon!

What a beautiful and charming creature! I love lizards -- we see many sagebrush lizards and horned lizards here -- and this one has a special character that you've rendered lovingly and with appealing artistry!

Thank you, Dawn - I love to read your comments. They are always so kind and interesting!

Artist's Description

In the world of symbols a lizard stands for forgetting so that life could heal its wounds and go on living. After the deaths of my Parents I was devastated for many years until I had noticed a lizard living under the tomb on my Parents' grave. It was really a beautiful thing to see this beautiful, lively little creature there, because it was a sign for me to stop mourning and get back to life. Lizards posses an ability to regrow their body parts (tail) lost to, usually, predatory attacks. That is why lizard stands for a symbol of holly forgetting in order of renewing life.
