An Observation.....I have had three German Shepherds. The first one was from a AKC breeder. Thought he was the Best Dog Ever!! Outstanding protection & family dog. After he suddenly passed on us at age 10, I did the unthinkable and bought one from a pet store, which no doubt came from a puppy mill! He was a good dog, but had many medical problems, he even had his own dermatologist!! He passed on after 5 years, a very short life and that is when I said no more dogs!! But those moments looking around for our canine family member were pulling on my heart strings, so I hit the internet, just to see what was out there on petfinder.com. Well, there was this small Sable German Shepherd, which my husband just fell for. So we went to check him out & of course, he attached to us right away.
