Half and Half is one of my favorite works. If you look at a lot of my other works, I like to use colored pencil and pencil. I really like the concept of creating a piece that focuses on the two parts (also why it is named, "Half and Half")

I plan to try this concept with a lot of different subjects in the future, this one is kind of the test run for me.

My works are mainly organized in two-dimensional, highly detailed drawings. I like to use colored pencil, mechanical pencil, graphite, various inks and white or black charcoal depending on the image. I research inspiring pictures and relate my piece to the image either in nearly perfect representation or use it as a "based on" theme. The "based on" theme art includes an influence from the original picture but are changed dramatically in my attempt to make the image look better or more interesting. Overall most of my pieces relate to nature, architecture, sunset/sunrise or close up representation. I also love to throw pottery, however I haven't had as much time recently to continue that medium. More should be on the way...
