This is an outstanding piece of work. The aura of Powell River with its resident fishing boats is portrayed beautifully. The vessel “Shirley” is very thought provoking to me personally.

I am very pleased with the quality of the product, and the gift recipient loved it and brought them to tears as it was a sentimental gift.

About Curt Curt
Like most everyone here I took a very early interest in art. I have been drawing as long as I remember and have always had great encouragement from family and friends. Even when I was too young to understand what I was seeing, I remember staring at objects and trying to determine their colors, even seeing colors in shadows and realizing they weren't just black. My mom would draw little birds for me and that encouraged me to want to draw. anytime I could get my hands on a pencil..it was draw, draw, draw. I didn't get into painting until my twenties and then it was on and off, but I do now put serious effort into it. When I am not painting I am observing everything. I still have much to learn and I guess I always will be a constant...

Tony, Thank you for your warm and inspiring note about your dog Hambone. Your encouraging words about Maggie living on in spirit lifted my spirits. -Usually I post happy pictures and messages but yesterday I felt compelled to express my feelings for Maggie. The best to you, Hambone and family: Ya'll have a Merry, Furry Christmas and Happy ,Yappy New Year.

Yea she is a cutie and knows it. She can work those eyes! She showed up at our door Thanksgiving before last with a huge hole in her shoulder and nearly out of blood.I don't know if she was shot or hit by a car or what. We took her to the vet and miraculously she lived and now she lives here. I have no idea who she belonged to before that. She is a character tho.
