Taken on October 1, 2012 on the third night of the Harvest Moon at about 9:30 pm in the northern hemisphere, Utah, USA. Of course, it wasn't blue naturally, but capturing the Harvest Moon, the full moon(s) which rise closest to the autumnal equinox, or the first day of fall, got me to thinking of another special moonrise that occurs, and more rarely, the Blue Moon. So, using artistic license, I combined the two. The colorful transparent "moonshine" text was added via Photoshop.

I've enjoyed and loved photography since I was young. More recently, I've discovered the joys of digital art, specifically, how Photoshop and similar software can enhance and bring out the art within a photograph. On my site you'll find both straight photography and digitally enhanced photographs, if it is digitally altered it will be specified. Each art work is a part of me and I hope you enjoy them.
