I am a painter, therapist and anthropologist living in Oxford since 2016 and previously in Oaxaca for many years and before that in since 1998 in Guatemala and London. My portrait and landscape paintings are in oil and include themes of campesinos in their surroundings, from Guatemala and Oaxaca. The landscapes tend to be plein air and it has been a privilege to travel to the countryside, close to our home, to paint scenes of people working in the fields, often using agricultural techniques that are centuries old, and to be invited to share the foods produced in their feidls.
