The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Helianthus sunflower, close-up of central disc. The inward spiralling pattern of the disc florets are an example of a pattern based on the Fibonacci number series. This is a mathematical pattern that is common in nature and is named after the Italian mathematician Leonardo Fibonacci.
