based on my original painting 'jimi' , inspired by the 1960s and musicians such as Jimi hendrix, the mood of the original painting is altered with a digitally created purple background, and lighting effects. The purple area around the figure is deliberatley left with rough edges.
Perhaps best known as a figurative artist, with an interest in history and vintage style. Along with strong influences from popart and french impressionist movements, my main subjects are dancers, musicians, & fashion, as well as vintage objects. Gradual development of an interest in digital art and photography has allowed me to experiment with different media and tools , producing images that don't exist in physical form until printed.
