Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A blend of two of my own images, the bear and the meadow grasses and wild flowers, both taken on Blue Knob mountain with the Nikon D300. The bear was taken with the Sigma OS 150-500mm lens at 500mm, and the meadow grasses were taken with the 18-200mm vr Nikon lens. My thanks to SolStock for the texture.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. Outstanding capture,Lois. Your picture title is also the title of Michael Moore's new book. Outstanding that this is a shot taken in the wilds, haven't been as lucky to get big carnivores out in the wilds. When I see them I'm usually without a camera- like a cougar mother and her cub strolled no more than 20 feet away one morning out on the edges of town ( Canon City, CO ) where I was living at the time.
