The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Historic sign prohibiting spitting. Old sign in the historic district of Central City, Colorado, USA. The sign prohibits spitting on the pavement (sidewalk). Such regulations were brought in to prevent the spread of diseases transmitted this way. Central City is located in the mountains west of Denver. Historically a gold mining town, the main industries are tourism and casino gambling. Photographed in 2015.
