Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. Artist's Description
I had just finished painting this when I received a card from my sister which said that sisters were like different flowers from the same garden. I thought "Hollyhock Sisters" was a perfect title for this painting. Hollyhocks and other hibiscus/malva flowers are favorites of mine and we have lots of varieties of them all over our North Carolina farm.

I am an artist working in several art media. My favorites are soft pastel, watermedia (such as gouache and watercolor), and oil although I like to experiment with other media from time to time. But, whatever medium I choose, I try to use the best quality materials available for each and every painting. We live in the North Carolina countryside where there aren't many amenities but we're surrounded by nature and my favorite subjects to paint are animals and flowers!
