The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

The slaughter, ordered by U.S. Army Colonel George Wright, of between 800 and 900 horses, captured from the Palouse Indians, at the Spokane River, Washington Territory, September 1858. Contemporary drawing.
