This is a watercolor painting by Marilyn Smith depicting a garden wall with a wooden guitar decoration adorning an old, cracked adobe wall. Nearby is a clay pot filled with the Jalapeno plants that will soon become the ingredient for hot sauce! A ladybug sits on the edge of the pot not realizing the danger he could be in with the collared lizard perched nearby waiting for a little snack. Jalapeno peppers grow readily in the Southwest areas of Arizona and New Mexico. They are a popular addition to most Mexican style food dishes.
