One of the few items of the 1989 UM BBall Championship that I've seen. Very nice

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Great experience on this purchase. We saw this art at an art show in Tampa and then purchased through fineartAmerica website. Love it!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?
Artist's Description
I love the many interesting patterns and objects that you see on the ground when you walk in a city, from the cracks in the pavement to the crumpled up piece of trash. I like how ordinary these things are, just as ordinary as the simple sparrows that you might also see if you keep your eyes down. Yet if you look carefully, there is something very beautiful about it all. I tried to capture some of that in this textured, mixed media monoprint.
About Megan Little
Whether painting, creating original prints with ink and paper, or snapping a photograph, I delight in the act of creation. I hope that you will enter with me into the quiet poetry of a scene or a moment. I delight in simple beauty, sparse composition, untouched photographs and also that little bit of awkwardness or clumsiness that makes a work of art or a poem come to life. In my short life, I've gathered memories living in three countries: Morocco, Canada, Western NY, and now Nashville TN. I both struggle over my nomadic lack of belonging, and embrace it. Many of the photographs I take are from the windows of moving cars, and many of my prints or paintings are created with these images as inspiration. You will also find images from my...

At last! Someone who understands what an "Etching" is! I am interested in your mixed media approach - are you using damp paper and an etching press to create these fabulous prints? The colouration is luscious...
Megan Little replied:
Hi Lesly! Thank you for your lovely comment. I'm sorry I didn't see it until now. There are actually a few print techniques in this one. At the top is, - yep - an etching. The dark colored areas are scraps of found and repurposed lithography, then the bird is a drypoint. The pebbling texture is printed from some found material. Oh, and there is some hand made paper in there, too. Well, now that I've revealed my secrets, I think I'll go take a look at your art. ( : -Megan
