Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special âThank Youâ to artist âSerge Averbukhâ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came throughâŚ.When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy careerâŚ. Thanks SergeâŚ.

On a personnel note, while being cared for during Chemo, this wonderful "cleaning" lady would always stop in to see how I was doing. Because of her care - she received this as a "thank you".
This was the second in a series of four pieces. The reason will be just a little strange but it was because I had a large sheet of paper. Had no idea when I bought it or why so decided to quarter it - which gave me one of the shortest series I've done.
Complete 2008 after 3.43 hours spread over 2 days.
08-27-23 Up at around 1 AM in terrible pain in my left leg. Waited all night till around 5 AM when I told my husband that I could not walk. He took me to the Emergency room of our local hospital. And we waited. Around 11 AM I was taken to Ultrasound and then Radiology. Nothing showed up but after speaking to the doctor we both agreed that I probably strained a tendon. I was given pain meds and we got home around 2 PM - my dog was very happy to see us. Able to walk without a cane by Sunday. Getting old sucks, just so you know. 07-30-2023 Back in May - after Sport was put to sleep - we finally decided to go to the local shelter to see if we could find a new love.
