This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

Amazing Beautiful
Painting dedicated to Daniel Filipe, Portuguese poet who wrote the poem "Invention of Love"
Acrylic and collage on canvas.
In every corner of the city,
in the walls of the bars, on the doors of public buildings, in the windows of buses,
even in this ruined wall, among advertisements of radio and detergents,
in the window of a little store where no one goes,
in the lobby of the railway station that was home to our hope of escape,
a poster denouncing our love.
In huge letters, in the size of
fear, loneliness, anguish,
one poster complained that a man and a woman,
met in a hotel bar
invented love with a matter of urgency
dropping of the shoulders, the burden of cumbersome daily monotony.
Daniel Filipe

Nothing could be more perfect that a fussion of minds. When the bodies are rejected from their passion, minds are working fast in understanding what is left...¿left?....nothing is left and all is rebirthing. Me encanta esta obra. Que no conocía. La fusión de sus mentes, la idea de la creación de otros seres aparte de ellos mismos. Perfecto Tao del Amor. Rosa
