I think that this is my favorite of these intensely vital paintings. You are so good at simple strokes of color that all come together to create these forceful images. Thank god you are painting these, helping to preserve the Blues as well as joining with it in your art. Also it is good to have a woman doing it; mostly I've only seem jazz and blues paintings by men. Not enough of them, either!
