Thanks a bunch Veikko.......:-)

Wonderful painting Rachel! Beautiful colors! L

Yes it resembles Jacqueline Du-Pre so well.. Amazing!!! A beautiful painting Rachel. I love this work. You are talented! I loved and still do love to hear her playing . What a talent she used to be. I would also comment that Jacqueline Mary du Pré, OBE was particularly famous for performing the Elgar's Cello Concerto in E Minor, her interpretation of which has been described as "definitive" and "legendary". She died at age 42 only of multiple sclerosis. Her husband used to be the famous Daniel Barenboim.

Ohhh, Thank you so much.....:-) I use to listen to her "Elgar" a lot, her departing of this world affected me. (Myself i was a Cellist too), Her Husband still works mostly in Berlin, he is blessed with nice talented family. G-D Bless Her Memory.

Beautiful work! Lovely colors... Congrats on you sale!

Much obliged Keren!

I can almost hear the cello! Very nice :) f/v

Thanks a lot Mick!

Thank you so much Andee, pleased to have your kind comment.

Many thanks Marty.......:-)

About Rachel Wollach Asherovitz

Rachel Wollach Asherovitz

I was born in Israel. My inspiration comes from everywhere. My art carries no social message. I am not trying to change any minds. I only want to paint whatever I feel. I love the language of music. The way notes link together, and I try to apply the colours using the same language, just like the notes that shape the music. I hope and pray that I will always desire more than I can accomplish. My moment of emotion in the studio is something I have to cherish as from the resultant of my imagination, passion to create....So force. In fact, for some moment I create in art realm, such as a Musician in music notes.
