This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
About Alicia Kroll
Alicia Kroll is a life skills teacher with a degree in Studio Art from Beloit College and an Art Education License from UNC Asheville, where she was taught by brilliant teachers and surrounded by a thriving art community. Her work has been shown in juried exhibitions at UNCA and sold in a fundraiser for the Asheville Art Museum and in the Shelburne Museum store. The paintings are done in acrylics because of the rich colors and quick drying times. I paint quickly and try to lay many images on top of each other in order to challenge myself and add depth and interest to my work. I am inspired by the beauty of nature. I am compelled to convey the complexity and liveliness of even the stillest of subjects.

Alicia, thanks for relaying your and your students comments to me. I used to teach art in a middle school. Please tell them that it did not take a long time because I splashed leftover paint (I don't like to waste paint) partly used on other paintings onto this canvas as I cleaned up for each day. When the canvas was full of paint, I studied it to see what I saw in it, and I could see how the colors and lines could become a city. So I made it into a city quickly!
