"Semper Fi, San Clemente" Every 4th of July, pilots of four AH-1W Super Cobras from Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367 at Camp Pendleton perform a flyover spanning Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente. This painting is a salute to the men and women from HMLA-367, San Clemente's adopted Marine Corps Squadron. The location is Park Semper Fi, a Marine monument in San Clemente established in 2005 through the efforts of former Mayor Wayne Eggleston. The 2011 flyover during San Clemente's Fourth of July festivities will be the last one for the "Scarface" Squadron, as they will be relocating to Hawaii.
