Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

Seen here surrounded by the modern business district known as La Defense, it was designed and constructed in the 1980's as a contemporary version of the famous Arc de Triomphe on the Champs-Elysees. In fact, this sunset photo of the Arche was taken from the top of the Arc de Triomphe at the end of a rainy, overcast day when the sun broke through the clouds just as the sun went down.

Nicely capture Nikolyn; beautiful light. You must have hit the very right time of the day to do this. I was not that lucky; but I'm going back this coming September and hoping for a great image like this. Well done. May I ask which lens did you use? And I presume "no tripods" were allowed? (I got yelled at a few times while on top of the Arc de Triomphe)! LOL

Thanks. This was actually the rainiest trip ever - gloomy weather the entire time. But we had the NICEST bunch of kids and we just kept going and doing. It was my first time up the Arc. Since it was overcast and drizzly, I basically saw no point in going this time, but the kids wanted to, so I did. Nothing spectacular on top and we were about ready to descend when the clouds parted at the horizon and we saw light for the first time all day! It was magic. This is actually not that great a photo, but it's what I got. I was shooting with a point and shoot but my EXIF shows 72 mm (35 mm equivalent 432 mm) and f 3.7. No tripod but I remember that I was able to rest the camera on the wall and shoot in any direction. Best I got was west (here) and north (Sacre Coeur). We didn't get yelled at - probably because no one but us had wanted to come up that evening, including the guards LOL Thanks for the comment.
