Interesting idea, Sarah! I had for sometimes same idea with the woman face and the sea, but still didnt realized...:-)

Thanks, Jenny! I like your idea of the woman and the sea a lot. It evokes the notion of the sea/earth as the womb of life. I hope you go ahead and do the project.

Really interesting image Sarah...makes one want to know the "story!" It has a very surreal quality which I like and I found myself looking at the windows to see if there were other "apparitions" around. I love the warm tones and the rainbow like colors reflected in the windows! v/f

Artist's Description

This began as a photo, taken on Broadway in Washington Heights, of a mannequin in a shop window and a reflection on the glass of buildings across the street. Digital processing created the illusion of a woman's somewhat transparent face as an element of the architecture, the "spirit" of the buildings. Featured in the Digital Touch group, June 2012. Featured in the Abstract and Surreal group, January 2014. Featured in the Images That Excite You group, February 2017. Featured in the Mannequin Statue Doll Sculpture group, March 2017.
