Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

I wanted a photo that showed what a beast these things are, and this one really shows it.

I like vultures, and this photo really catches this one in flight.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

About Carolyn LeGrand
With color and symbolism I paint personal issues, human issues. Transformation, enlightenment, pain, pleasure, life and death. I strive to portray the courage and growth it takes to move through the obstacles and triumphs of living on this earth. I started to paint at a very early age and found a way to express myself. My artwork is Expressionism. This is the way I have always communicated what is deeply personal to me. I reside in Oregon, on the coast. A beautiful place to communicate with nature, walk the beaches and be one with the Universe.

Thank you Hanne for the compliment of this painting. Also the F/F. Most people who have viewed this did not really see the sadness behind the smile. You see the depth and the message about my happy and yet so sad clown. Thank you so very much!!

Magnificent colorful clown portrait painting, Carolyn! Wonderful sad eyes in his happy face! L/F

Thank you Bunny. A lot of people do not like clowns and some are so scary, but this one has two layers to the face. One is a happy, smiling clown but the other side is a very sad clown. Those are tears on that face that look like watermelon seeds. They are seeds of heartache. But as some people do they smile through the pain. Happy is like that. But to view him you wouldn't know. When I painted him I was listening to Smile the song. "Smile even though your heart is breaking." Also I listened to Send In The Clowns. So dear Happy has two faces Thank you so much for your wonderful compliment. He now lives on a wall in a living room in Southern California.
