I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

This is a scene of Bascom Hall the most famous iconic campus landmark of the University of Wisconsin in Madison. The painting features the statue of past leader Abe Lincoln and a future leader- a UW student studying in front of the stature and Bascom Hall which is the symbol of higher education at UW.
About Thomas Kuchenbecker
I started painting over 40 years ago as a hobby, an extension of my childhood interest in art which was my favorite subject in grade school. Painting was and still is my method of expressing my love of nature and the environment. Later on, it became a method to convey a message.through original poems combined with my paintings. I aim to capture the eye with color and soothe the soul with an atmosphere of ethereal tranquility. I hope to achieve an overall effect of harmony and co-existence between nature and mankind with a subtle implication of the greater cosmos.
