Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I have been a 911, Police, Fire, and Paramedic dispatcher for a number of years and recently retired. I used to draw as a child, but never painted until I was an adult. I put my paints away when I had children and picked them back up after they were grown. I worked long hours, so not much time to paint while I was working. I've done oils, acrylics, watercolors and pastels. I probably enjoy acrylics and watercolors the best. I'm always finding new ways to paint them and enjoy reading how other artists paint.
