Legs Inn of Cross Village.
Legs in brings back many memories for me. Almost all of them from an age of youth. I turned legal back in 1977 and legs in at that time was a great place to spend a Friday evening drinking, and dancing with friends.
I had lived in Harbor Springs at the time. A small town roughly half hour away depending on the route taken to get there. State St. was the most direct way to get there but the most scenic route was on Michigan's M119. North west out of Harbor Springs along the shore of Lake Michigan where you could catch many glimpses of the lake. The real highlight of this route for many was the drive through the Tunnel Of Trees, a stretch of road with both hardwoods and pine trees on both side of the road creating a tunnel for what seems to be many miles.
Of course one of my favorite memories is the drive out on the twisting M119 in my old Camaro putting it through it's paces on the many winding turns and the few long straights.
