Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Automatic Drawing. The marker moves fast, with no plan about what it should make. I find that a new marker, produces a punchy drawing unlike any other. For every drawing that makes it to a finished artwork, there are about 100 that remain as improvised sketches. I roll up the rejects and through them in the trash. With a sharpie, there are no mistakes and I am forced to accept every line, and every gesture as the basis of the work. Factors like the age of the marker and the type of paper drastically effect the drag and friction of the motion, producing very different results. Smooth paper creates wide swirls and dancing waves, while rougher paper causes intricate folding and interlocking shapes. The size of the paper also plays a role in what kinds of shapes emerge. I pile these up on my desk, later digging through to harvest the good ones. Sometimes when I'm drawing, I know that it's primal and good.
