These types of small promotional toys were often given to new customers at a bank in the 1960s and 1970s. They often were metal and heavy. Add some pennies and it served as a paper weight.

I wrote that in a book I published in 2009, "Riding the Chisholm Trail: Once in a Lifetime" after I had that experience that changed the way I looked at the world around me.
