About Murray Dellow
I arrived in Maine, USA from New Zealand in July 2009, initially living in the Kennebunk area, then Saco and now residing in South Portland. I found a new love of photography since arriving here and being able to capture images in a different landscape, particularly seeing more snow and the intense fall colors of New England - somehow the light here makes the colors stronger. My first photographic memories are of using my dad's box brownie camera on family holidays when I was very young. I was given a Kodak instamatic camera in my teens, and then bought my first SLR camera when I was about 20. I began working with black and white photography and photographic screen prints in the 1970's and 80's, during which time I participated in...
