Wandering the streets of Venice on Christmas night was magical! Until we found ourselves really lost in Venice, without our cheat sheet of Italian words. We knew we were far away from our hotel because we could no longer hear the bells of St Mark's. Asking the locals for directions proved challenging - destra, senestra - which is left, which is right?!? Getting lost in Venice allowed me to find this beautiful altar outside someone's kitchen window. I wish I could've captured the moonlight above the home. Perfection!
