The University where I spent 6 years of study, I loved the campus buildings with their wonderful gargoyles, this character holds tightly to a book with strong bindings, she is clearly passionate for learning. The buildings have aged over many years and some of this carving's patina has been left untouched.
About Joseph Duba
Fine Art America is my primary vehicle for photographic experimentation and display. I grew up in the Midwest near Chicago, have had long standing interests in art and photography. I developed wood carving skills in 1980s and built 2 violas in 1990s. I took up photography seriously in 2008. My artistic style is what you see.
