The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This is the second version of a watercolour painting on which I experimented with the colours. I'm quite amazed at the strong colours and textures that I managed to get and the cat took on a much more tiger like appearance. The name Lucifer Sam was borrowed from a 1967 Pink Floyd song about a cat. The name sounds a little bit evil, but neither this cat or the one in the song were evil, just a little mysterious.
About Martin Howard
I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs.
