I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Having spent a morning at this inspiring area I did this painting of the pools. This is just a small section and one of the pools. There are a lot of rocks and pools with a bigger waterfall in this area. The water is pristine and cold. What is interesting about this area (which is located just past Graskop) is the surrounding open flat grass land. The pools, rocks and waterfalls occur in the centre of the flat land and the contrast is very interesting. Just around the pools, you find trees and green shrubbery and grass and a little beyond just open land and yellowing grass.
