Wonderful! Congrats on your sale!

Congratulations on your sale!!!!

Great shot Mike. Beautifully tinted, excellent one point perspective and most of all, you captured all those pieces of machines and their gears and belts. Wonderful golds and browns, great details. The row of desks on left side gave even more information about early manufacturing. Lots of light with those tall arched windows. Most factories are dark and gloomy. This looks like a great place to work! Congratulations on well deserved sale ( and huge amount of comments from other photographers). cheers, georgia

Love it Mike :)

Artist's Description

The machine shop really hasn't changed all that much over the years. The stuff you see here is pretty much what you would find in a modern day shop - that doesn't have computers. These machines however are driven by leather belts, which are ran from 2 large motors (one for each side of the room). Because of this, it was always wise not to wear anything loose.
