I just love crows! They belong to the genus "Corvus" and are considered the most intelligent of birds. Crows have tool making ability - skills until recently regarded as solely the province of humans and a few other higher mammals.
About Diane Marcotte
Born in Montreal and now living in Oakville, Ontario, I am mainly self-taught but have also taken art classes at Sheridan College. Before a career in banking took over I was a stay-at-home mum and dabbled in oil painting. Only when I retired did I begin painting again - this time in earnest. I have always loved the transparency of watercolour paintings and so I began painting solely in this medium. Then I discovered Pan Pastels and I now take commissions to paint pet portraits in this wonderful medium. Recently I have been drawn to Alcohol Inks for their vibrancy and jewel-like tones.
