I love the painting, and fabric! I’ve always had Border Collies, so they are perfect for me! The insert stuffing is a little lumpy. But i am very satisfied.

There was a recent fire and you can see the smoke on the right, but most of the majestic Mt. McKinley was in view. I have been told that it is only seen six times a year since it makes its own weather and clouds. It is pretty awesome to see. We were 80 miles away at the Eielson stop. It is an eight hour round trip on a bus that was not airconditioned. I went to the last stop which is Wonder lake and the mosquitoes are pretty thick and I could not see McKinley. The bus trip to Eielson is worth the trip but plan to get off the bus at each stop to take full advantage of everything you can see.
Award winning photographer, Penny Lisowski, started using a Nikon 35mm camera in1979. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and now lives with her childhood sweetheart, Chuck in Winder, Ga. to be near their family,including grandsons Ryan and Greg. In 1992 her husband, Chuck, encouraged her to enter her first exhibition at Photo 92. That first ribbon was just the beginning and since then Penny has won awards at many art shows and exhibitions. In addition to the awards her work is displayed in businesses and homes throughout the country. In her quest to learn more she graduated from the New York Institute of Photography, home study course.
