I have a tremendous backlog of paintings I did during my two post-surgical recovery periods and most of them are experimental - trying various digital painting techniques and styles, with or without textures. All are a part of the digital learning curve for me and I've yet to settle on a single style I'd call my own. I'm going to post a number of them fairly close together - which is unusual for me - and would really welcome constructive insights from those of you who are old hands at this or just naturally better painters - lol.
Not being a sailor, I'm not certain of the type of boat this is. I believe it's a small ketch but if there's a sailing aficionado out there who can steer me to the correct ship I'll be happy to change the information!
To assist going to windward, a ketch may carry one or more jibs or foresails. If a ketch has no jibs, it is called a cat ketch or a periauger. On older, larger ketches the main mast may in addition carry one or more square rig...
