Your imagination is limitless and processing perfect. Really like your pictures.

VERY NICE, VERY DIFERENT PIECE OF ARTWORK ,

Man Patricia... your work is just amazing - super talent. I am so jealous! Not sure if you're the mother of apples, but you sure as hell are a real artist!

Bravo Patricia you are the mother of apples

Your gallery is absolutely wonderful!!! So impressive!! Congrats!!!!

cant stop looking at it

you work goes beyond the well composed and crisply painted image...as i see it, you have posed questions to the viewer about our new age. the apples and the industrial-trees of the future ( apple-less, leaf-less, life-less )....they are in fact speaking about the eco-system and i applaude them... tdp

Artist's Description

This particular kind of apple tree grows on the foothills of the Stanovoy mountains, Eastern Russia. These trees have the remarkable characteristic of dropping all their fruit simultaneously. When this happens, it marks the start of the harvest season for the local Yakut people.

About Patricia Van Lubeck

Patricia Van Lubeck

Born in Amsterdam in 1965, living and working in Australia at this moment. My recently created oil paintings are all about 'individualism'. Most of the people can associate themselves with one of the trees in the paintings. The trees are performing like actors. Every person is gifted with at least one special thing in life, so you easily can personify yourself with one of the actors. As the brave one, the cheeky one, or the lucky one. But also if you don't take the titles too literally, you can see the solo acting tree as a leading one in a group, a showing one in a circle of viewers or a guiding one in front of a public. In some way, we all are the one. Even if it is for just once.
