just a beautiful greeting card
When I chose the title for this photograph, I searched to see if anyone on Fine Art America had used it before. There were only four images that were of barns in or around Marthasville. Three of the four were mine. I guess I have an affection for the area. In this image, one sees a couple of wonderful trees in addition to the titular barn. The Missouri River bottom land extends out to the horizon giving a sense of the wonder of this area. I will be exhibiting my work at a new gallery in the old Peers Store building between Marthasville and Treloar on Missouri Highway 94. The Katy Trail passes right in front of the store. So if you’re out for a bicycle ride or a hike, stop in.
