Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

What inspired me to paint this painting was the way the little boy dug his heels into the ground and lifted the toy backhoe off the ground. I felt the reference photo captured a lot of anticipated movement.
