About Joe Santana
Born in HUACHINANTLA Puebla, Mexico in 1963, raised in Acapulco, where at age of 15 started to paint my first paintings in oil, ever since, I have been painting continuosly experimenting with different techniques and materials. At the age of 17 I moved to San Diego CA. Where I started to paint murals with some experienced artists such as Eddie Edwards, Victor Ochoa, Roberto Salas among others. I found myself painting like never before, creating originals and discovering new mediums along the way. after spending 13 years in San Diego, decided to move to Oregon, To the beautiful The Dalles Oregon where i still reside for 15 years already.
