The artwork is beautiful. I think it would be excellent on a canvas. I have been considering a second order. I am in awe of the artist.

The Miami blue (Cyclargus thomasi bethunebakeri) is a small butterfly that is native to coastal areas of southern Florida. Once very common throughout its range, after Hurricane Andrew, it became critically endangered, and may be the rarest insect in the United States.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida. I lived there for 30 years before moving to Fort Myers, FL with my amazing husband and three beautiful children. I began studying photography in 1987 and I have experience with both 35mm and digital photography. Although I make a living shooting portrait photography, my passion lies in photographing nature. I'm a sucker for vibrant color and narrow depths of field. You can often find me at a nature preserve or a butterfly garden with my macro lens. I've recently begun working with textures and enjoy expanding my creativity. www.pamelagailphotography.com © Copyright 2012 Pamela Gail Photography, All Rights Reserved.
