Artist's Description
As much as I am a fan of scenic images of New England, I'm also a big fan of old machinery and Americana. It's always a bonus when I can combine the two. A great example is this locomotive which was built in 1953. As part of the B&M railroad it served for many years in places like Lowell, East Deerfield, and Nashua until it was purchased by the Milford-Bennington railroad in the late 80's. Today it sits on a siding in Greenfield NH, and has probably been there for close to 15 years. A very interesting sight to see this engine left to rust away in the woods of NH.

Eric is a fine art landscape photographer based in Lee, New Hampshire. Over the last decade he has been actively pursuing the art of photography throughout most of New England, but is especially drawn to locations in his home state of NH. As a life-long resident, this gives a unique perspective on some of the more popular landmarks, and also some of those that can only be found off the beaten path.
